HealthLink marked its 25th anniversary with a meaningful community school outreach program, held on November 1, 2024, at the Adjiriganor Cluster of Schools. This initiative aimed to give back to the community by equipping students with essential knowledge on mental health, CPR, and choking prevention. Recognising the importance of holistic well-being, HealthLink’s team of experts engaged students in interactive sessions, offering practical insights into managing stress, identifying signs of mental health struggles, and seeking appropriate support.
In addition to mental health awareness, the outreach emphasised life-saving skills through hands-on CPR demonstrations and choking response techniques. Students were trained on how to perform CPR effectively in emergencies and how to assist someone who is choking, ensuring they felt confident in taking action when needed. The event was a resounding success, leaving students empowered with knowledge that could make a difference in critical situations.
As part of its continued commitment to community welfare, HealthLink remains dedicated to fostering health awareness and education. The 25th Anniversary Outreach was not just a celebration but a reaffirmation of HealthLink’s mission to impact lives beyond clinical settings, creating a healthier and more informed future generation.
